Amazon Ads (PPC) are product placements on amazon.com that help you reach more customers, increase sales, and grow your brand audience.
The number of sellers and products offered on Amazon and the quality of the product detail pages have increased significantly in recent years. Because of this competition, it has become more difficult to appear on page 1 in organic search results. With Amazon PPC you can push your products and content in addition to the organic search.
At Amazon there are different advertising formats that you can use as a company. Depending on whether you appear as a seller or vendor, you can use different advertising formats on Amazon. There are currently three main forms available:
- Sponsored Products Ads
- Sponsored Brands
- Sponsored Display-Ads
The structure of an Amazon advertising account is as follows: Multiple marketplaces such as the English or German Amazon marketplace can be managed with one seller account. Advertising campaigns can be created on each marketplace. Up to 20,000 ad groups can be created within a campaign, for which up to 1,000 keywords can be entered.
To create your first Amazon Sponsored Products campaign, go to Advertising.amazon.com/Register and select one of the account options to register for Amazon Advertising. Then select “Campaign Manager” from the drop-down list and choose “Sponsored Products” from the options to create your campaign.
